Kid Norrin

Kid Norrin is essentially an internet autopilot mode.

The name Kid Norrin comes from a fan character in the series Kid Radd. Kid Norrin is an alternative name to Silver Radd. Which is a form of Mecha sonic parody.

Kid Norrin essentially goes through everything I have twat on twitter, posted on Facebook, posted on IRC, and all that stuff. It notes what I was replying to, language and what not, and it notes what I answered to that message. Vernacular and all.

Vernacular Checks

Vernacular is generated based on the follow ideas:

* Second Order Entrophy of the word (used to figure out the mood at the time of writing). Keeping h0, h1, h2, h1-h2, H1-H2 Second Order Entrophy
* Keep track of patterns of word usage. Matching them to time and what it is response to. Based mostly on vocabulary and Second Order Entrophy. These moods will be numbered, rather than named. With the option associate a mood to this. Typically this would be based on a structure based on accusation of what self is.
* length of words used.
* punctuation and use of that punctuation
* paragraph length/shape
* tags and links associated with this page

Kid Norrin will use this to attach different words to each other in a form of surfable web. Possibly getting to the point of being able to have its own idea on what each of these items sound like. Generally able to go through these webs.

There would be simple commands able to be given to Kid Norrin--it should be noted that these commands will also get these moods attached.

Autopilot

After enough information has been attached to various people, such as the user of the AI, as well as people talking to the AI, it will learn how to do its impressions of various online entities. An impression of the owner is called autopilot.

To decide what gets an impression, it will note how it reacts to certain words--including mood and tone of his response. It may also try to note various "definitions" of words and placements of various words.

Adjustment to mood

Kid Norrin will notice what people, phrasings and what not will adjust how he talks and speaks based on his controller. If something works on his controller, then it will work on Kid Norrin.

Learning

The goal of Norrin is to make him nearly completely language independant. Not limited to any language, and generally able to learn and adapt due to it.

Able to learn, natural languages, that is, ones that are meant to be spoken. Also able to learn unnatural languages--ones that are not meant to be spoken, such as various writing systems (Math, Chinese Simplified, "ASL") and various computer langauges.

The idea is that this autopilot has a large web of what it knows. It would be a neuro network that is entirely software based. It would, assumably, have similar ideas as to how humans can learn.
